We requested to be on a team with a certain kid and we got on it, so we appreciate that! We had the most amazing coaches, Renee and Jad Porter. The referees were kind and fair. Communication was top notch as well.

I feel like the cost to play and expectations are reasonable at the YMCA. I like that families are not crazy and do not act mean to each other.
The only thing I would say is that I believe the volleyball players should be required to have court shoes if they aren't already. It is dangerous and not helpful to have children sliding all over the court. You wouldn't have a soccer player without cleats playing.
I love that it is about creating team and learning how to work together and communicate, without the pressure of strict competition attitude.

Convenience, overall cost, and they communicate very well as far as schedules, field info, weather delays, and rescheduling any cancelled games.

YMCA is very organized. They give ample time to prepare for the season. Games are always posted ahead of time.

Room for improvement in the pool. (Seems like the pool is opened to late in early summer and too early in the fall time frame.( I have be unable to use the pool ever as it is closed or there are many swim lessons being given). Some if us older folks would like to swim without kids yelling

A good variety of classes and friendly staff.
It's a very friendly place to work out, family atmosphere, always very clean, great instructors/classes and perfect location for me. To be honest, I have never experienced a bad or rude instructor or front desk personnel. Even when they sub for others and they're not very familiar with the class format, their friendliness trumps them not knowing the exact class format. After searching and trying three other gyms prior to the YMCA, I am so happy I finally found a gym that is a perfect fit for me.
