Semones Faily YMCA is a favorite place.
The staff is consistently talented and friendly. There are several who really extend themselves in friendliness to the seniors, of which I am one.
One of the main assests and attreaction are the other members. They are from many diferent backgrounds and we enjoy camaraderie after our classes.
A wonderful, welcoming and all inclusive facility for children and adults
The staff and classes are top notch! The class choices cover and abundance of needs. If more personalized guidance is necessary, trainers are available to create a plan.
We love the accessibility and inclusivity that YMCA sports provides. Our son loves being a part of a team and looks forward to games on the weekends! Thank you for creating spaces for kids to be kids.
The organization is consistent and runs well. The Y keeps the game fun and focuses on learning. Things are done in a timely manner. We have loved the Semones YMCA experience.
I love the friendly atmosphere and focus on learning and sportsmanship. Also the Refs are WONDERFUL. They are always super encouraging and kind to the kids and helping the learn more about the sport.
Semones YMCA feels like the heartbeat of our community. Everyone is welcoming, the facilities are updated and clean, and there’s a good variety of daytime classes with knowledgeable and upbeat trainers.

The only issue is that the YMCA does not accept payment from members that are not card carrying members of that particular branch.
It’s nearby the Northhaven trail and I can do a bike ride and my gym workout before or after.

The fitness classes I attend are at convenient times, staffed by competent instructors and populated by friendly Y members. I really enjoy the classes and the friendly staff in the facility.
Friendly environment
Semones YMCA is a wonderful place. They have lots of classes and a lot of equipment. There are great people there. Some work there and some workout there. It is good for you health and for your mental health.

I love the awesome childcare, the cycle instructors (Calvin and Ale are the ones I usually get to go to), the clean and new equipment, the pool, the familiar faces!
I love the Y but the new LED lighting in the gym is just awful. I feel like I’m working out in an industrial warehouse or a Russian prison. Uggh!!!!! Please get warmer bulbs or something!

I've been a fairly active member of the Semones Family Y (f/k/a Town North Y) since 1984. During my time a member, the facility has been significantly expanded and improved to the point where I have to believe it to be one of the best, if not the best, Y facilities in North Texas. Beyond the physical plant, one constant over all these years has been quality of the staff. From top to bottom they are all friendly, welcoming and helpful, with a special shout out to the entire aquatics staff. I'm looking forward to many more years of visiting the Semones Y almost every day of the week.
Front desk is always welcoming, particularly Rose. Facility kept in good shape. Casey very helpful.
