Good atmosphere
Hello - This is my son's second year at the YMCA Camp on the Lake. He literally mentioned all year about how he could not wait to go back to camp. He was so excited about going back this summer. The counselors are so much fun and make it a great time for the kids. He had a different funny story everyday about a counselor and how much fun he had. One day they went tubbing on the lake, one day they played hockey, one day it was colors wars. I'm glad that the YMCA still has camps like this for kids. My son will always remember his time at this camp when he's an adult.
Nice facility, nice staff, good classes though I don't use them, I have in the past. Good workout equipment.
One compliant. Bathroom maintenance is very lacking. The plumbing fixtures look like they have been worked on by someone who does not know what they are doing. The urinal in the men's bathroom off the workout area does not flush adequately and hence is usually full of unflushed urine.
The staff is great! The facility is CLEAN ! There are many options for excercise. Love the easy under ground parking.
The equipment and classes are very good. The staff at the front desk are very polite and always willing to help. Brenda is a rock star. I also appreciate the difference ages and backgrounds of the members. People of all ages and skill work out at the Y. I love to see the children from Rise when they are at the gym. I train with Sean and he is awesome. The monthly charges are more than competitive for all of the services provided.

Clean and great classes!
I love the classes, especially Yoga with Rhonda. The gym has everything I need to workout, and I do training sessions with Jerri. She's great! Membership at the Moody Family YMCA is the best value in town.
I really enjoy being greeted when I come in and I like seeing local people.
The location, amenities and classes for my young children. What is also needed are programs, sports and activities for children in the age range from 10-13 years for boys. I find there to be a lack of sporting and extracurricular summer activities for these ages.
Usually can find court time for my son to practice basketball while I take a class.

My son liked swimming in the lake, meeting new friends and counselors, playing in the sand “becoming a statue”, archery, boating and more!
Killing the flies in the men’s shower in the morning is a fun diversion.
This is a great workout facility. And I love the pool. Very clean facility, well run and well attended!
The Moody Family YMCA has been a big part of my life for 30 years. Memories of my children participating in Indian Guides and Indian Princesses fun, and the fellowship with the other dads are priceless. Also the key benefits of the Sit Fit and LiveStrong programs made my recovery from two cancers doable.

The pricing is very reasonable. The facility is great, and the staff are superb! I rely on the Y to stay fit, taking advantage of both the remote personal training and swimming options. The Y increases my quality of life and, through its programming for youth and seniors, the quality of our community's life as well.

Great equipment & staff
Clean, modern, and a variety of ways to exercise is what I like most. The hours open are good too.
Staff is awesome, spacious exercise room, feels clean, great workout equipment.
I like the professionalism of staff and the entire experience was great. My child was able to enjoy many of the activities that he has never done before.
Friendly staff, modern building with fairly good upkeep/cleanings, great Water Aerobics class M-TH evening with Emily. Speaking of, I keep forgetting to stop by the front desk on my way out after class, to make a complaint about a lifeguard having his own music playing when sitting up in the lifeguard stand while Emily's Water Aerobics class is in session with her class music also playing. It is very annoying, distracting, confusing, and just plain rude. The lifeguard is not there to throw a party and listen to his music; he should be staying alert and focusing on doing his job properly; it's a serious job and could mean life or death. Emily had to ask him to turn down his music last week because we couldn't really hear either song very well, it was just disharmonious "noise" due to 2 different songs playing over each other; and this week he continued to play his own music during Emily's class again.
Ease of use. Enjoyable free group classes. Good trainers.
Variety of exercise classes
It was so clean and check in was so easy and there was very much space inside the court area, love the parking as well unlike the others it's always crowded in the parking lots this was the 1st time ive seen space at the Moody Ymca, and we all loved it!
