Less people in facility
My family and I have been here 6 short months and joined the Mckinney YMCA shortly after we moved here. They were able to help with a much needed discount for our limited income and need to find a workout gym affordable for us and our 4 children! Every single person on staff is absolutely amazing. They all know the Baysingers by name and always have welcoming smiles and tips for us when we walk in!

All personnel are very courteous to me. The hours of operation are great. All the machines are all kept up to date.
It's close and convenient from my neighborhood. It's rarely super-busy and noisy, although I have the ability to go at quieter times of the day. The staff and members are very friendly, helpful and supportive; and maintenance and cleanliness are high priorities in the facility. All that, plus the wide range in ages of the membership makes it feel all the more inviting and family-oriented!

The staff are friendly and caring. The place is super clean and well kept.
Love the teachers and variety of classes
All staff are welcoming and knowledgeable about the services offered. There are numerous classes offered at various times so anyone can attend. The equipment is well maintained and varied.
I am retired and recently moved here from another state. I love coming to this Y not only for exercise but for the social climate. Lots of people around my age stay after classes and/or exercise for the socializing. I have been warmly greeted and accepted into the Y family.
Another aspect of this facility that impresses me greatly is the various ages that come here. I see teens, young adults, and older folks like me. This Y offers it all for an affordable price.
