What do you like about your J.E.R. Chilton YMCA at Rockwall experience?

I like the Christian environment (tv shows, culture of dress code, culture of language, etc). The butter pecan coffee is something I look forward to. I'm sad to lose the Racquetball court, but nobody would play with me anyway so I understand the change.

Everyone is nice, friendly, happy. The child care I was sending son to is great and the workers are amazing. He is always excited to be there, so that speaks volumes.

I never really look forward to lifting, but am always happy I go. Thank you for having a wonderful facility available.

So pleased with the Rockwall YMCA. Great instructors, friendly staff, clean and safe environment. A great place to make friends and achieve your fitness goals no matter what level you are looking for. Thanks to the Y and all their great instructors!

All employees, youth sports, family support, and all the facilities are great. My only concern is as membership grows, then the facilities like the weight room and cardio area and basketball court get overcrowded.

The Y is such a great and important part of any community! The amenities that are available, the cleanliness of the spaces, the modern equipment in the weight room are all amazing aspects of the YMCA

What do you like about your Swim Lessons at J.E.R. Chilton YMCA at Rockwall experience?

The instructors are patient and excellent in working with kids at all levels. My son was afraid to get in deep water until he worked with his instructor and now he swims the full length of the pool and dives in the 10 Ft end of the pool with no hesitation. It give me peace of mind to know that he can navigate pools and how to get the side, float, and understands water safety rules.

Staff are always so nice and willing to assist. It is always clean. We do swim lessons there and they are so gentle and interactive with the kids!

Everything!! Great place to work out. EQUIPMENT IS all in working condition. Cleaned on daily basis. Staff is friendly and helpful.😄

What do you like about your Swim Lessons at J.E.R. Chilton YMCA at Rockwall experience?

Josh and Ben have done an excellent job of helping my 14 year old son brush up on the basics and become more confident in the water. Our son last took swim lessons at age 5. He could make it across the pool but it wasn’t graceful. I told the YMCA I wanted my son to be more secure in his swimming abilities. I explained that we are trying our best to drown proof him. Our son’s freestyle and backstroke skills have significantly improved after his first 6 YMCA sessions. Our goal was to ensure our son had solid swimming skills prior to going off to college. The lessons have achieved that.

What do you like about your J.E.R. Chilton YMCA at Rockwall experience?

Our Rockwall YMCA is Family-oriented. The scholarships offered to families & senior citizens, who otherwise couldn't afford to participate in sports & utilize workout facilities, is outstanding!
My family has lasting memories from Indian Guide/Princesses, soccer, baseball, softball, swimming lessons and working out.
My husband is a founding board member & even now enjoys using the workout facilities.
