What do you like about your J.E.R. Chilton YMCA at Rockwall experience?

The child watch crew is great with our kids. The weights are always wracked when we need them and the workout area is usually very clean. The people who go to the gym are courteous and nice to each other. And there are so many classes and options to take advantage of. Plus the pool is available for additional exercise.

Swimming lanes are always available and the exercise equipment is very updated and clean.

What do you like about your J.E.R. Chilton YMCA at Rockwall experience?

I feel like removing the app to reserve a lane for lap swimming does a a disservice to the members that rely on consistent times to schedule their swim time. This holds true for those that are employed or have set schedules. One can’t always wait around for a lane to open up, it’s not like the gym/ cardio area.

The reservation app should have been updated to allow check in at the front desk. Having an iPad that didn’t allows work or needing a password. This would be more streamlined.

Also, having three people to a lane to swim is not practical. Not everyone “swims”, does the same strokes, same speed or workouts.

Not to mention members that swim laps are being “squeezed “out of lanes and times to swim in the summer time, since there is only one pool.

Clean, friendly, environment. Quality workout erquipment and nice swimming pool.
There can be waits to use certain equipment. Even during slower times. Still a good placve, well maintain and all ages and levels of fitness are their.

love the atmosphere! i have been training w David almost 2 1/2 years 4-5 times a well lovingnit he’s a great guy and trainer

i do love barre, swim arobics do them daily too
lori, gracie, helda are amazing. but love them all

Brittany is an amazing staff member and so helpful for giving us a tour of the facility before we signed up for our membership. She along with the rest of the staff are amazing and make joining the Rockwall YMCA an absolute pleasure . Can’t wait for the improvements and updated pool. See you soon.

What do you like about your J.E.R. Chilton YMCA at Rockwall experience?

Great staff. I can usually get a swim lane or at least only have to share with one person. Pool water is nice and cool so far this season.

I am disappointed that the new spin cycles are not set up to connect to my Garmin watch. I use the power readings to gage how well I am doing over time and I really miss that.

My experience is very heartfelt as our family had a tragic loss and we found our way to the YMCA and what the last 4 years have meant to my granddaughter is a important story of community, finding a place to heal We also support it via a non profit called ttkids.org.

Overall it was really great this soccer season! THANK YOU for bringing back nice-looking medals for the end of the season. Didn't love the 1-week later start. IMO it was pretty awful to have games the weekend after school ended.

My children have excelled in these swim lessons, unlike other places we've tried in the past. They are excited to continue and keep learning throughout the rest of the summer.

The instructors were very good and friendly. My daughter enjoyed the swim lessons and learnt a lot. She was very happy with the constant encouragement provided to her by the instructors.

We loved the organized communication, we loved Coach Mike S! The refs were great and patient with the crazy parents! Haha. We love YMCA and my son is at summer camp with you guys! Keep up the great work!
