Well designed for kids.
Both my grandsons have been attending camp Elmwood for the last few years and I couldn't ask for a better staff. Kaylea, the camp director, is extremely helpful and understanding. My oldest grandson has Autism and my younger has PTSD and over the years she and all the counselors have been amazing with them both. We've also worked with Brynne, she's the social worker at the Y. She is extremely helpful with boys as well. Kaylea is also helpful during the rest of the year as well. She contacted me durie holidays to help with gifts. I just can't say enough about everyone at Camp Elmwood and the Y itself!!
We loved the Y camp. My son has a blast every day. As he's only 5, I wish counselors were better at helping him make sure he has all his stuff at the end of the day, also I wish making sure kids changed out of their swim suits after swim was more of a priority as staying in the swimsuit all day causes a rash. My son has told me counselors wouldn't let him change.
Very inclusive, camp counselors are very well trained and age-appropriate, not just high school students, a lot of college-age counselors, who are fun and energetic, and are capable of working with kids with all types of backgrounds. Their leaders are respectful, supportive, kind, and nurturing. My daughter loves this camp. They help build up her confidence.

North Attleboro Childcare Center is wonderful. Jenn Silva, Gia Guido, Kerri Simonds, and JadeLyn Butler are all wonderful caretakers - along with all the assistant teaching staff as well. We will be sad to leave after 3.5 years here!

The after school program is a big help to our family. Being able to have our child in a safe setting with friends from his school, and without the added worry of transporting to another site, is such a great option for childcare. We know the Y is trustworthy and the adults in charge of the program communicate well with parents and are loved by the students.

Love it for kids and convenient for parents. My youngest will be going as soon as she’s of age. My oldest has been in the program for 6 years.
The programs and activities are engaging and enhance skills. With kind, caring and knowledgeable staff, it makes classes fun and educational!
The staff are professional with parents and have fun with the kids. I can trust that they will communicate in a timely manner with any issues.
Varied activities to keep the kids engaged. My son loved after care and would be upset when I picked him up early. Miss Mia was extremely responsive and managed the care team very well. Every person on the team was kind and attentive, and my child enjoyed being at after care.

I always feel that my child is safe under the care of the YMCA staff. They make a fun environment for a child to let off team after school. He really enjoys going and actually gets upset if you pick him up too early that’s how much he loves after school YMCA.
Lynn and her staff make a great team. They made after school time fun and enjoyable for my kindergartener.

Alexis was absolutely wonderful—always approachable and a great communicator, especially when it came to any concerns about my child. The entire staff was friendly, kind, and consistently treated the children with care and respect. I really appreciated how they managed behavior in such a thoughtful and supportive way.
