Location, cleanliness, classes.
It is a smaller facility and nearby. I try to access the pool when it is not so busy.

I think it gives a great opportunity to experience multiple different sports in one class. Nice for young kiddos who want to see what they'd like to try as a sport.
Its not just about the fitness, its the opportunities to meet new friends, the social piece is as important to our health as is the physical. Thank you for spaces to sit together, the wonderful cup of coffee after a workout, the "Birthday Board", the Potlucks, all of it. I like that it is not sos huge a facility! I appreciate that the staff is so friendly, greeting us as we come in, as we pass in the hall. Means a lot. The "Y" is a "gem", a "treasure" to all of us in this area. Thank you!
Friendly staff and great equipment
The facility is kept exceptionally clean. The staff is always friendly, warm, and helpful. It is for those two reasons that I enjoy going to work out.

I love swimming at the YMCA and also doing Body Balance. I have been a member for years and would not exercise anywhere else. The staff and friends I have that are the best.

I love what I like to call "my" Y. It's small enough to feel homey, yet still has all the equipment and classes I need.
The facilities are great! The staff members are friendly and helpful. The hours are convenient.

Clean and all are friendly
We love the Wolverine Branch. Everyone that works there is supportive, kind and welcoming. No matter their job, every employee is willing to help and answer questions or will find someone else who knows the answer.
The pool. Although the pool classes are way too noisy and most of the people consider it their social hour (I think the instructor has given up trying to shut them up), I do laps and water aerobics when it’s quiet. Thank you for providing this clean, warm, pool with consistent hours and enough staff.

Clean, friendly staff
I like the friendly staff and the cleanliness of the facility. If there was anything I would suggest to change to improve the place, it would be to make it a "background music-free" location. There's a wide range of music genres preferred and you can't please everyone's preferences. So, why have rock music playing all the time when there are many who don't prefer that style? If people want music to work out with, they can bring their own devices to listen to according to their own preference. This would be my suggestion to enhance time spent at the Wolverine YMCA. Thanks for considering it.
Space and available equipment
I appreciate that it feels like a small-town gym. The staff is friendly, there is enough space and machines to keep moving, and coffee in the mornings is always appreciated!
