The Mary Free Bed YMCA is basically the center of my world. A great facility, a great staff, a great crowd of people utilizing the place. I am 76 and just competed in the National Senior Games in Pittsburgh in basketball. We finished 4th out of 16 teams from across the country. I get help, support, and encouragement from all the young guys I try to compete with on the Y courts. Next goal: win gold at next National Games in 2 years in Davenport Iowa.

Would love to see young family/kid friendly parking spots. Lots of families with young kids, can be a hike to and from the Y from parking lot with toddlers/rebellious children:)
Staff is # 1, so helpful and have always been pleasant, friendly and eager to help. The cleanliness and surroundings are pleasing to the appearance and a good feeling in the environment.

The afternoon water aerobics classes are great fun and a good workout. The whole facility is clean and staff is very helpful.

I love when the staff at the front desk recognize my kids and I and ask how we’re doing, make a point to say hi, etc! It’s a small gesture that really makes or breaks our experience!

Molly Dow is always friendly, engaging ! All the staff at MFB Y goes out of their way to deliver. AND, recently had my 1st massage at MFB with Dasha !! Wow, a very thorough and relaxing massage by listening to, and targeting my unique aches ! Thank You, Dasha !!!

I really like going to MFB YMCA and would recommend it to anyone. It feels safe. Wellness coaches are always present and gracious in responding to a need. The receptionists are always polite and helpful and express their happiness to see you come in.

This YMCA is such a special place that connects to the community. I go there a lot, and while I'm mainly working out, I see how many activities take place—there are constantly kids, special needs individuals, elderly people, and people from all walks of life finding a place to enjoy activities that make them feel alive. I love this place.

Great facility! Very clean work out areas and restrooms. Only areas of improvement I could mention are a more concise pool schedule and shower room hooks. Many times it says "open" for the family pool there is a class in that pool taking up the majority of the space. If they could indicate that on the family pool schedule it would help! Most of the hooks are missing in the family shower rooms which limits it to only a few you can use if you need to hang garments.
These are again small areas of improvement, I love going every morning, it's my favorite part of the day!!
