I like the new egym circuit training equipment.
Well designed. Generally friendly stafff.
The overall size and layout on one level. And ease of parking.
The swimming pools are large enough to accommodate plenty of people and the hot tub area is just the right temperature.

The YMCA has many many different things to do. In am a new member and I have only done limited things like doing the track. I home my schedule will change to play a little basketball, doing some light weights and work into a routine. You have one great facility and I hope to take advantage of what you have. The overall experience at this location has been very good. The gym is clean. My only suggestion is to make sure to keep more lab lanes open for lap swimmers.

I like the open, light and airy environment and how friendly the staff is. Most of all, I appreciate the sense of community and running into people I know.

It feels very inclusive, non judgmental , and great lively friendly atmosphere. Love EGym!!!!! It got me back to lifting weights which I had felt too intimidated by in the past few years
I love the MFB YMCA, how welcoming and affirming it is of all people and abilities.
I would love to see some additional planning around some classes that become so crowded that safety becomes an issue. Body pump is a great class however I avoid it in the winter due to overcrowding. I tried it yesterday and was hit in the head with a weight due to people coming in last minute and squishing into small spaces. That’s no one’s fault but those classes may need to be limited or organized differently. It’s frustrating to get there early, find a spot and then not have enough space, especially when it becomes a safety issue.
A very welcoming place, the staff is always ready to help with the machines or give advice,
They also have a great variety of machines as well as ample room for free lifting.
The different courses are great although a Pilates course would be an interesting addition.
The staff is wonderful, you ask them a question and if they don't know the answer they find someone who does. Very friendly environment and up beat.

Please paint mural on former rock wall! Need to make that part of the gym more lively and less corporate. :) can we get same muralist who did track painting to carry the art through?

There is something for everyone to choose to do. The front desk people are friendly and helpful. Having the family changing rooms is very much appreciated.

The Mary Free Bed Y is a wonderful place that has a wide variety of classes, equipment, and spaces to fully enjoy and stay healthy. I especially love the Aqua Cardio classes. They continually innovate and upgrade the facility to meet the needs and wishes of the community. My membership at the Y is a bargain considering all the wonderful health benefits I receive.
