I love that it promotes accessibility as a universal approach. Staff are great, facilities comfortable.
It's a great place to work out. I especially like the pool for swimming laps and the indoor pickle ball courts.
One suggestion is that when one of the Y pools is closed for whatever reason that an email go out to the members or post a notice on the Y app to notify people. It is frustrating to show up and plan to swim only to be told the pool is closed. It doesn't happen often, but I wondered if there is a way to communicate better to members when it does.

Compared to the other YMCA in the area that I go to I would have to say that the Mary Free Bed YMCA has friendly staff that greets you/acknowledges you when you walk in. Also, Mary Free Bed YMCA is much cleaner. Especially in the shower areas

Definitely like the variety of weights and equipment available to use and the ability to end the workout with some time in the sauna.

It offers so many options for keeping fit. The instructors and staff are welcoming and competent. There is opportunity for seniors to mingle and make social connections in the pool and coffee room. The Y tries to meet the needs of all.
Please update your app! Pool times are incorrect most of the time. Also, the app wiped out both of my membership cards!?

I've always found the staff at Mary Free Bed cheerful and happy to help. I find it easy to interact with other YMCA members. Our facility is well-lit, clean, and spacious.

your mission of serving/empowering all people of all abilities in on display constantly. The wheelchair basketball league for example is a very visible example. The integration of MFB PT and hydroponic and greenhouse gardening and sales and nutrition classes is awesome.
Our daughter is one of your lifeguards so we are ALL IN on your mission. We are grateful for the experience and wisdom Elana has gained from working for the Y.
