The delivery and front desk are great but the policy to not do any maintenance or service is not acceptable. I use to rely on Allen and Mathewson to do it all. This is the reason this company gets a 9.

I like that you have a budget program, that delivery is on time and the people are nice.
The only thing I have a problem with is that you offer no discounts for seniors, veterans or first responders. I got a $10 raise in my social security check for 2024. Seniors need help. Veterans and first responders need to be thanked.

In the winter of 2018, our furnace broke and our own oil company quoted us late May to take a look at it. It was February. Other companies said they wouldn't service our equipment because we didn't already do business with them. We still had heat but had been without hot water for days at this point. When I called Roy Bros, they set aside the fact that we were not oil customers and came out the same day, returning the next day to start work on it. The same day that they finished the repair, we switched over to them as our oil providers.
The company has been bought by bigger companies a couple of times, but I'll always be grateful that the staff and team at the time put us as people, without hot water in the winter, before the fact that we were not already existing customers. We've been getting great service since then, except for the year I thought we were supposed to use Gervais Mechanical for all of our equipment service and not just after hours, and as long as the service continues, we'll continue to use Roy Bros, and I'll continue to share about the winter they saved us before the heat went too.
