The main reason I use this location are the downtown location that is near my office, the early opening hours and the lap pool. The facility always seems well-managed and maintained. I have used the community rooms on a few occasions and they worked well.
Great staff. Beautiful building. Empty studio rooms for stretching, personal workouts. Sauna is excellent. Childcare people specifically are so so great.
The facilities are too notch and the employees are incredibly friendly and helpful.

Pressure in jacuzzi is envigorstingg.
No grunting people slamming weights. No loud music playing.
It’s new, I like the fact they restored an historic building to accommodate the facility. I like How some of the workout areas are separate- it’s nice that not everyone is in one big open area- sometimes that makes working out uncomfortable. My kids feel welcomed around everyone- while working out as well.
Hannah on Sunday body pump is great. Reception is not very friendly.
We’re a large family that lives in the city and this location really has the best amenities available.

It’s a well-appointed facility with friendly, knowledgeable staff in downtown KC. What’s not to love?

Machines always available, love the walking track, great pools and hot tub, and seeing the city.
I love working with Dante Edwards. He’s knowledgeable and fun. He’s also careful to modify work outs to match my over 50 body’s daily changing aches and pains.
Great facility and the staff is kind. Love the upstairs gym and the track.

I attend the Kirk Y for swimming only. Since the PH Y swimming is closed from 11 to 4, I have no other option during lunchtime. I drive 20 minutes from Corinth and then 20 minutes back about once a week. Though the locker rooms are small, they are clean and the facility is well run,
I always get a lane, Stephanie is wonderful at the front desk.
I wish PH Y was open to 1pm - it would save me 35 minutes per day.

I like that the lockers are on several floors and I do not have to bring my own. It has lots of big windows and lots of equipment. The cycle studio is excellent. I like that the group exercise clases have their own spot.
All the different kinds of classes that are available. I love that it’s clean. Always greeted with a smile. It’s my happy place.
