I appreciate how clean your facility is compared to the other Greater KC facilities. The staff is very friendly and knowledgable. The trainers are always engaged with members and even participate in cleaning. There seems to be a unique sense of pride at Kirk that emanates from both patrons and workers.

Clean, good equipment
I like that the pool has a hot tub, sauna and steam room, which are not available at every Y. I like that there are lots of group exercise classes, including on the weekend. I love the new building and the downtown location. Parking is easy, too.

What a wonderful surprise Kirk Family Y has been for me. I used to be a regular at a different Y, but switched to downtown and found a home! The Kirk Family YMCA is a welcoming place.. I am a regular at water serobics and appreciate the pool staff for their professionalism and their warmth..
Kirk Family YMCA has been a great place to get a work out. Everyone is always friendly and the facilities are always nice and everything is functioning as it should.

Basketball court in the center of the workout floor, there are big TVs that are usually on and no one changes the channels on them. And there’s a pool. I like the aesthetics of concrete and the amount of workout equipment to member ratio that happens when I am there.

Great facility and updated equipment. I would like to see later hours. The basketball court is too slick sometimes, particularly in the winter.
The gym is very clean and there is plenty of equipment. The 5:00 a.m. crowd is very kind and respectful. No one hogs the machines. Everyone gets their workout in and goes on about their day.
