Wonderful Facility and great new equipment compared to other locations. It’s probably one of the most beautiful buildings that a YMCA is located in. The track is my favorite as well because it’s so incredible to be walking on it and viewing the other KC Historic buildings. The staff at the Kirk location were extremely polite and helpful. It always a great experience stopping by this location although my Home Y is Cleaver.

The staff are so friendly and accessible. They really care about the condition of the facility and the members’ experience. They set the tone and atmosphere for the whole Y experience.

My experience from the YMCA has been the most popular place to go to is because I love working out there, and going to the sauna and steam has helped me rejuvenate. I think going to the Kirk Family YMCA will be my favorite gym to go to at all times, and I hope that I can workout a lot lot more to do.
Group classes are led by some of the most awesome instructors I've ever had. General maintenance has to be such a huge burden, but there are some equipment and infrastructure that aren't quite a "10"; but it's the people on your team that make my Kirk experience a solid 10 - from front desk, leadership, fitness - literally EVERYONE there is a delight to see every time. Thank you for all you do.
I like that they changed the hours to fit the needs of people that work late. I wish they would accommodate a better price for adults over 75 yrs of age that do not have silver sneakers.

(Did see a very obvious abuse of handicapped parking by a very fancy car the other morning. Hope that was addressed and not a recurring problem. )

It can get busy, but is rarely overcrowded.
We have a great group that plays basketball in the mornings. We appreciate getting that hoop raised back up to 10’ and keeping the floor clean.
The staff is welcoming and all of various rooms and pools are clean.
I love the variety of equipment and the cleanliness of the facility. The staff is friendly and helpful. The kids zone staff is amazing. Though, sometimes kid zone will close early if there isn't enough staff and they won't alert you through the app like they do the other cancellations.

Love the staff and the facility...do not love the lack of cleanliness! I have indicated this several times over the years. The men's locker room is filthy. Lack of mopping in the entire area, showers are moldy, lockers inside and out are dirty. Need to get a cleaning crew who deep cleans and is on a regular schedule. Also, soap dispensers are empty and/or missing and air filter is rarely changed. There was a leak in one of the shower stalls that leaked for weeks! I just don't understand. Outside of of the men's locker room, I love the Kirk Family Y. Please clean the locker rooms!!

I enjoy the clean and inviting facility. Kirk staff is always friendly and personable. They offer great equipment options and fun fitness classes! The sauna is also always a must when visiting.
There are many varieties of exercise choices available
