Quiet small and clean
It's very close to home and has everything I'm looking for!
The folks at the front desk are always very friendly and helpful. Facilities are clean and there is a cheerful vibe as one walks in. Machines in the cardio room are plentiful and if one malfunctions it is usually quickly repaired.

I like the facility a lot, especially the yoga classes. DeeDee and Jamie are both great. I think some of the weight equipment could be updated, but it's still serviceable.

Close to home, many classes, has most weight equipment I want to use.
I love the way the gym/weight area, feels like a real old fashioned gym. Some of the other Y’s have nicer areas, but not that real gym, weightlifting feel. I also love the turf area for people to practice sports. I love that there’s a physical therapy office at the YMCA. And, all of the staff people are so friendly and so helpful. Monika is a great personal trainer. It’s nice to see people of all ages working out there.
I do hope that this YMCA gets some upgrades to the parking area and it would be great to see the outdoor area upgraded so people can use a basketball court for instance. It would be nice to see upgraded weight machines and additional free weights. I know the other YMCAs in the area seem to frequently update their machines, but I think Manlius has been overlooked. Keep up the good work! The Manlius YMCA is definitely a hidden gem.

Great people and great facilities
There are many types of classes. The childcare lets my daughter in law exercise instead of waiting for me to babysit; my grandson loves it. He calls it “ school”. The staff is always helpful. Sometimes I enjoy a cup of freshly made coffee and chat with other members before leaving. It’s an overall good experience. I especially enjoy the yoga classes!
