I would definitely recommend the North Family YMCA to my friends because it offers great programs and a welcoming atmosphere. The only drawback I’ve experienced is with the cleanliness of the facility. The women’s locker room and shower area are often very dirty and unpleasant to use. Improving the cleanliness in these areas would make the YMCA an even better place for members.
It has more of an “at home” atmosphere. I feel very comfortable there. The staff is wonderful, and I like the people that I meet at my exercise classes.
Kids spend most of the day outside.
The counselors ( Jenna and Delia) were so kind, caring and fun!
