I became a member at the Fayetteville branch when it first opened. I moved to Liverpool about 8 years ago and started coming to this branch.
I enjoy the fact that it’s small and not overwhelming.
My only negative comment is that the individuals
that share the office in Cardio Room are not very welcoming, when they do come out of the ripen they do not acknowledge or greet members when they walk by one of them always has his eyes glued to his phone. A small greeting goes a long way

It’s always clean and bright, the staff are super friendly and helpful, and the machines are usually maintained well! What I love the most about North Area is NO TV’S!!!! I can watch what I want on my treadmill without seeing Fox TV in front of me!!!

Staff and other Y attendees are friendly. The Y is big enough for me but not so vast that I feel lost when I enter. The pool water is a comfortable temperature. The sauna is inside the women's locker room so that I can use it after showering.

North Area Family YMCA is a pleasure to work out at. The Zumba instructors are amazing including Ebony, Suzanne and Sandy Jo. Jennifer does a great job with Aqua classes and Aqua Run is fantastic. Chair Yoga was phenomenal. The area in the front is well maintained by the front desk.
It would be nice if possible to have substitutes for classes.
