Everyone is friendly and love the classes and instructors
Place is always clean with friendly staff. They have adequate free weights and machines to satisfy my needs.
The staff is friendly. The instructors are excellent & are usually able to modify for injuries. You offer a wide variety of classes. Equipment is well-maintained, etc...
That said, I feel more cleaning staff is needed as the track area, the stairways & upstairs fitness room are dusty and in need of daily mopping. This would not keep me from encouraging my frieds to join, but I feel it's important for you to be aware.
Variety of activities. Good favili6
The facility is beautiful and very clean. The staff is friendly and helpful
I like the exercise classes offered. I did like the cleanliness of the Y but it has gone downhill a bit. I think they need to give someone more hours or hire another person. The stairwells and track can get pretty grimy. The staff are great-friendly, professional. I do recommend the Y to people.
I love the staff and activities geared to Active Older Adults at the Northwest Family YMCA. This YMCA has so much to offer those of us who are Seniors looking for ways to enhance our daily lives after retirement. I was impressed by their Walking Club, game room and Art Studio. The pool facilities have a walking wave pool and aqua therapy classes. The building and facility itself is very modern and clean. There is a wonderful area to gather for coffee after working out in the morning with friends. I definitely recommend the Northwest Family YMCA for Seniors who are looking for a safe community to thrive in. Liz S.
I have recommended the YMCA to MANY people...I love to come and enjoy the facility. I enjoy Chair Yoga and now just love Pickleball. I am taking lessons with Rob. I love the FRIENDS I have made and look forward to seeing them....Another thing----You can be a little down or lonesome---- and you go to the Y and see people and--- honestly you could stay for hours and visit and participate in the activities....
What about the pool??? It is so inviting---especially the therapy side pool.
Yes I am a very happy member of the Northwest Y....

Everything the Facility has to offer.
Accessibility to many different options for exercise.
I mostly swim laps, and love the big windows in the pool area. I also like the variety of activities available for all ages. And a big plus is the friendly and helpful staff.
the instructors are great. they have help me overcome my physical limitations with solid programs in pool and floor exercises.
I love the variety of group exercise classes during the day.
Great facility, great classes.
Everything, the classes, equipment, track and the staff.
The friendliness of the staff, the programs offered, and I appreciate how hard the cleaning staff works to keep the facility clean despite, what I can only imagine, are many challenges.
A chance to execize and meet up with friends.
It’s close to home, easy to get in and out, iffers several classes I enjoy.
Enjoying chair yoga with Virginia and Mary Beth..
I have been a long time member of the Y. One of my favorite classes that I take is Martin Mau’s Strength and Function! He is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to fitness! He will teach the proper form of every movement! I have become stronger as a result of taking his classes. You will always walk out of class feeling accomplished!

I love the Northwest YMCA. The facility is bright, cheerful, and clean, the staff and clientele are friendly and helpful, and the opportunities for all ages are varied. It is a healthy community, one which I am pleased and proud to be a part of!
I love the Y! Always clean, lots of class offerings, beautiful aquatic center.
I love the many exercise machines and track for walking. I love how clean it is kept. I love the fact that it provides many services. I love the fact that you offer affordable rates making memberships available for all economic groups. I love the locked entry for only members to pass through. I love the friendly personnel.
My only criticism is that the track isn’t well supervised with toddlers not holding hands of parents or children around age ten running and not aware of the danger they present to the elderly. I think your employees don’t feel comfortable or empowered to tell the parents that their child needs to be next to them not cutting off some old lady at the other end of the track. This has long been unaddressed.
The facility is always clean and I am able to access the machines when I need them. The staff is friendly and helpful.
Everything
I was in a bad accident in 2018 which left me unable to work. I was isolated and became very depressed. I joined the Y and started attending water fitness classes. The Y literally saved my life. It helped me socially, physically, mentally and emotionally. I am more fit now than I have ever been. I have a great group of friends. The Aquatics staff are very knowledgeable, friendly, encouraging, upbeat, positive and dedicated to their jobs. I can’t say enough about this amazing program.
I like the therapy pool classes. But you really have to show up early for some of the classes or you are closed out. Can you offer more class times. I know you can go in regular pool but the water is cold especially if you are a senior. I know the swimmers like it colder So I don’t have an easy solution.

I like all the programs/classes that are offered. I recently did the Livestrong program where I met some wonderful people in a small group who were at various stages in their cancer treatment. Deb Yeomans is a wonderful leader of the program since she herself is a cancer survivor and highly recommended the program to me. I am currently enrolled in a Forever Fit program for older adults especially those with arthritis.
