Great family pool and kids watch center with convenient hours. Large workout area. Always plenty of space.
The staff and members are friendly and whatever you engage in the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. One of the sessions I attend the members have become like a family and are very caring and if someone doesn’t show up there is real concern. We celebrate birthdays and holidays and have a great time.
For seniors it is a lifeline not only for physical health but emotional connections.

I love all the variety of things to do. Aqua Fitness is awesome and has been very good for me. Pickleball in the gym and then all the other classes and of course the E-Gym! I don’t have little children anymore but I know there is lots of activities for them too. Always nice and clean in the bathrooms and showers.

Love the Y and everything it has to offer but.... the stairs walking up to the track are filthy everytime we walk up them. I understand it's winter but it looks like they are never cleaned,and the dustballs around the track are getting pretty bad too.

Hey, first, please don't post this or any of my info on any public platforms. I'm not comfortable with that. I love this YMCA. There are so many positives ESPECIALLY Aurora. Give her a raise. There's also a very young man at the front desk (maybe 20 years old?) who is tall with dark curly hair and glasses. He is always so kind and respectful and helpful. Mary at the front desk is amazing too.
I believe there is a rule of no cell phones in the pool area/locker room area. Lately there have been a lot of men (mostly men!) who have been in the steam room or sauna with their phones out. They're not pointed at their lap or anything. They're aimed up and out a bit which makes me feel like they could be recording/taking pics/etc. It's super uncomfortable. I get wanting to listen to music or scroll a little but this makes me feel unsafe.

The Northwest Family Y in Baldwinsville is simply the best Y my wife and I have ever been members of. Personally I have been a member of the YMCA in Rome, NY, Poughkeepsie, NY, Rochester, NY and Clifton Park, NY, and they were all good as I love YMCA's above other fitness centers, but this Y is so much more. We love it. Possibly the only thing I do miss is a good Hot Tub. However, none of the other Y's I mentioned had a Lazy River! And that's the best ever for our grandchildren, when they visit from other cities. We Love our Northwest Family Y
