The building is perfect and the staff very friendly
We have been members for years, and it has provided us with the opportunity to be active while having small children. The childcare providers are incredible and do a wonderful job.
Usually clean facility, equipment is not too crowded in the morning when I go.
There is an older gentleman who likes to walk around the locker room completely nude then put one foot up on the sink while he uses the hairdryer on his undercarriage. I know the Y allows nudity in the locker rooms but this seems unsanitary. It makes it very uncomfortable trying to wash your hands in the sink next to him when he does it.
When the circuit training class goes upstairs to use the track they sometimes block one corner so people who are walking or running can't get through. They bring the weights upstairs and are doing burpees and clean and jerks in the middle of the walking track, doesn't happen often but shouldn't they keep the weights downstairs?

Working with Omar (YMCA trainer) has been an amazing experience. My wife suffered a catastrophic cycling accident and has been working on recovery for over 2 years. She looks forward to each session with Omar. He challenges her to build strength and balance. The results, in my opinion, have been very good.
