Carter for one is great, in fact all the technicians over the years I've had have been great. I really like that I have been assigned the same technician consistently.
I do not like the rising costs and I feel that the bigger you get the more expenses you have and I feel you have been passing those costs on to the customer.
Stop sending me mailings to pay my services in one annual bill. A 3% discount is not enough of an incentive to do so. Give me a 10% discount and I would pay up front. Also what about discounts for Veterans? I know some of your competitors offer this.
I also think you could do better logistically, scheduling and routing. I often see two other service techs in my same neighborhood within a day or two of my service. You could survey your customers to see who was willing to sacrifice some personalized scheduling so you could bundle your customers within a smaller geographical area, and offer a discount for those that do so.

The technician, Thomas, was punctual, personable and thorough. My wife was recently hospitalized, and put on oxygen. Neither my wife or I thought about the oxygen generator but Thomas asked if we didn't want any chemical placed near the machine and we agreed that it wouldn't be a good idea so he avoided that area. Good call and proactive thinking on his part.
