My daughter has learned a lot and gained confidence being in the water. The lessons are great in the way they keep building on the students skills.
Staff is well trained and follow procedures well. Staff is also able to pivot if I ask for help or to change something by accommodating me or by referring me to their supervisor - this helps me feel very heard and I appreciate getting a quick yes or no answer.
Outdoor water aerobics 3 great teachers, great exercise, and lots if fun. The students are lots of fun too!
The swimming program was great. My 11 year went from barely being able to swim in February (though dearly wanting to) to comfortably being able to swim laps with her face in the water. It makes me feel so much more comfortable as a parent letting her go places with water with her friends. Even though the instructors were all students (I am assuming High School) they were great. They were so patient, kind, and helpful. Great job training them YMCA!

Pound is my favorite class by far. So many times, a fitness class has music, but the moves are never in sync with the music, so what's the point of the music? Pound solves that problem perfectly, as every movement, even the stretches at the end, are in perfect sync to the music. Vanessa is an excellent instructor as well. She gives very clear instructions, mirrors correctly (when she says "left", it's our left, but she's using her right side to allow for correct mirroring), and is cheerful, friendly, and remembers everyone's names. Thank you so much for offering Pound with Vanessa!
The eGym strength training equipment is also a favorite of mine. It really takes the intimidation out of gym strength training equipment, and is so efficient. If everyone is paying attention and rotates after each exercise, you never have to wait for a machine to free up. It's great that the machine remembers your seat position and training weight and adjusts everything instantaneously as soon as you tap your key fob to log in.
The towel service is another fantastic feature, as it makes it very convenient to take a shower and not have to carry your own wet towel home. Thank you so much for providing that!

Good variety of activities specifically for seniors. Only complaint is very crowded aqua exercise classes. Way too crowded! So, I just go to to rec swim time and do my own thing—which works for me!

I like the pool. Sometimes I use the weight room, but the pool is where I spend most of my time at the YMCA.
