Brooklyn is a wonderful teacher and has been great for our son who has been hesitant at times to dunk and he this he was wet. She is patient and supportive. We are just meeting Alexa and she is a wonderful calming presence in the pool for our son.

I attend the older adult exercise class 3 days a week, and at 82 years I depend on it to keep me healthy. It's been fantastic. And I know there are other classes and programs there if I choose.
The staff and the instructors are friendly and helpful.
Front office staff is warm and welcoming. Personal trainer is responsible and excellent

Parking is a problem
The instructors are excellent. Amy for spin class Tuesday, Thursday. Our fellow participants make for very social classes.
Good variety of classes and really friendly instructors. I just wish there were workout classes starting at 7:00am
Pilates, exercise classes
I love my water fitness classes. I especially like that they are offered 6 days a week so I able to accommodate my crazy schedule. Staff are friendly and helpful.

I recently returned to the Y after 3 years or so, and I love the way they have spaced out the stationary bikes and ellipticals. There is a wide variety of classes at various times during the day. The facility is super clean and the staff is friendly.

I love the warm deep water pool and all the warm, friendly pool people. My goal is to do laps and water Ex 7 days a week, but my reality is 5. My enduring friendships from the pool have enriched my personal life.When I moved to Redwood City in 200, I didn't know anyone in town, but thanks to the good people of Sequoia YMCA, I have a sold friend network that is always there for me.

Water aerobics classes! Your excellent instructors make the classes a joy to attend.
However, there are some problems with the Sequoia Y pool. It closes too often for reasons mostly caused by lack of attention to its upkeep. The pool should be open all day every day. Also, some pool users need to chair lift which has been out of order for several weeks.
Maybe you could have volleyball games at some other time of day. Preparing for the games disrupts water aerobics classes, and the noise level of the players is unacceptable.
The teachers are very helpful, and know how to approach kids.
I use the pool only and like the classes, shallow & deep water. I do miss water YOGA and urge you to bring this back!!! The teacher MaryKay Mitchell was awesome!!!!
