Noriko’s classes. Nice pace, intentional movement in choreography, lots of energy and fun to participate. Would love to see line dancing a little later in the morning or early afternoon. Have also enjoyed Anna’s Shape class.
Extremely knowledgeable and helpful front desk staff.
Varieties.
Very approachable and affordable.
Friendly staff and exercise classes like Zumba. I wish there’s also bellydance class and more art classes
I love the water classes I’m still checking out all the classes because I’m new .
I like the relaxed atmosphere and the people are nice .
The facilities are clean
I like the Gym Venture class. It will be perfect if you can bring the gym venture class back, and if you can clean the playground. It's great but very dirty. Thanks.
Its good for beginer swimmers and cost effective
There is a great variety of programs. Something for everyone!
I love the pool and How lap swim is ran. Keeping lane speeds reasonable. I wish some of the life guards were a bit more attentive. Some will completely ignore a slow swimming in the fast lane. Others will promptly move the slower swimmer.
I wish parents were more attentive to the dangers of kicking balls and running through the squat rack when I have 215lbs levitating off the ground.
Perhaps you can remove the balls from the area. A child running into the rack is more predictable than a random ball being kicked. I understand this is a YMCA And children may be present. I’m not saying children should not be allowed however this also requires parents to be a bit more attentive. There is a spectrum. Some are more aware of others.
The pool has no running and filming signs. Perhaps a sign instructing parents to actively watch their children and are responsible for their safety should be placed at the doors at eye level. I have had to ask staff multiple times mid workout to talk to parents and their children.
There is a playground on site, yet parents prefer the outdoor rack area. It’s unfortunate parents treat the outside squat rack as a Children playground. There are few places to do Olympic lifts safely, and the outdoor rack is one of them. It’s also more often than not the only rack available. Meanwhile. The outdoor play park is empty. I know this because when you park you can see no one is in it. I can start my lift in the rack and have kids flood the area as parents sit at the benches on their phones. I have asked parents to watch their children and not kick the ball into the rack while I’m squating. I think many of the members simply do not understand the danger for their children or the person under load.
Ultimately I understand we have to work together and lucky to have such a wonderful facility.
Kids love it.
I have. Ot participated yet. But soon plan to. From what i read , they are exciting and sounds very good
Swim lessons - the frequency per week/ the duration of class / the price for members / the coaches worked good for us
I like the variety of classes and I love Kids Club! The grandchildren have fun and are in a safe environment so I can get my workout done.
The programs address every age group and the NW-Y addresses diverse populations with language classes, gardening, cultural events for Asians, Indian holidays, etc. They just started a Ninja program which is highly popular, and use every space effectively. The live strong program is so caring, as well. The group ex program is the just diverse and plentiful I ever saw and I teach at many clubs. The board and staff are very engaged, friendly and communicative. Members are happy and the parking lot is busy most of the day. Thanks to management.

Classes and instructors, wonderful warm community
Has what I need to do my exercise
Good programs. But you should schedule light or senior appropriate group exercise offerings before a d/or after water aerobics, as you did in the past so seniors can benefit from them in logical succession.
The pool for recreational activities is very kid friendly. The facility is also new.
Egym machines, friendly staff, large variety of classes

There are plenty of times available and the coaches are knowledgeable (especially coach Lorenzo) and don’t let one disruptive kid ruin the class for everyone
