Member Testimonials
Great facility, convenient, not overcrowded, polite and helpful staff. YMCA focuses on the basics and really gets them right!
The instructors for the classes are great and clearly have prepared for their classes.
HOWEVER, over the past month, parking has become a significant problem. When I arrive at 9:30 am on weekdays, there are only a few spots left at the end of the lot. I’m waiting for the day when I will be unable to find parking and will miss my class. The gym is not that crowded at that time. I hear that St. Francis HS kids park in the lot and walk to school from there. I usually also see people in scrubs walking from the lot to the medical buildings. How about patrolling the lot occasionally to enforce that 2-hour limit?
The variety of classes and youth sports!
Members, distance from my home, many different group exercises, and instructors.
I really like the family oriented environments
Wish they would bring back PM group exercises back like they had before for ballet or zumba that was offered around 7-8 pm.
I like the friendly people who work at the YMCA.
The Y programs i are available to all age groups & abilities. They help to keep older adults active. A wide variety of classes are accessible through YMCA 360, which is helpful to the homebound.
Array of classes. Esp Body pump and core lined up back to back.

aqua fit classes
Friendly and competent instructors
Staff is wonderful - all positive and encouraging. It is nice to be greeted with a cheerful welcome upon arrival!
Group ex! I wish there were more classes.... Do we really need a ping pong room?
I miss the towels and the coffee. If those services require greater membership to be affordable, then why not challenge the current members with goals to refer new members? How many more members are necessary to get our towels back?
Varied, les mills and family/ age stuff for all
I'm incredibly impressed with the wide range of machines, classes and resources. And the egym is the frosting on the cake. Wow, I've never been one to lift weights and I finally feel like I have a resource with egym that will make me successful!
I love the bootcamp and body pump classes. And I like the friendly staff.
There is a wide variety of programs too meet all needs
Youth basketball is great! Love swim lessons. Friendly, welcoming environment. Feels very much part of the community when I'm there. Nice to see it coming back to life after the pandemic.
GOOD
1. Cleanliness
2. Staff friendliness
3. Pool is great
4. Gym equipment is good (modern, adequate)
5. Price is feasible
6. Enjoy the sauna
7. People (non-staff) are respectful
OTHER FEEDBACK
1. There is only one squat rack -- given this is not a small gym, it is common for it to be unavailable
2. Would be awesome if there was a boxing heavy bag (currently there are only stands)
The wonderful friendly staff. The plethora of classes and activities.
There are many activities at the Y, I am planning to participate in classes and Yoga as well.
i just heard about your Tai Chi class and am excited to join.
Group exercise instructors are excellent
I love EGym and the fact that there are people of ALL ages at the Y.

It's across the street from one of my work sites. The lockers are great since I always forget a lock for the other locations I go. Sauna is nice perk. It is clean and updated. Bike has a nice view of the park.
One constructive feedback, the shower heads are not ideal. I know it's to reduce water use in a draught but the spray pattern makes it impossible to keep my hair dry/prevent frizz from the mist.
