Swim program
Is very frenly and take care well to as
well I go to the gym during the hours of operation and I enjoy using the equipment. I spent time going from machine to machine, reading the instructions, managing the workout style and forming the muscle's that I want to use. I recommend the services that I receive to myself often because I think my body responds with immunity at the YMCA. thank you for having such services for someone like me and for others. please be safe and stay healthy.
We love the range of programs and activities central ymca has. The racket ball, and basketball courts are great. Nice variety of weights and cardio equipment.

Great classes and reasonable price. I wish the outdoor pool were a bit cooler though!
Lockers in the locker rooms can use some updating to have a keypad so that I don't need to bring a padlock each time
I’m not involved in any of the programs or activities. I strictly go for the weight training and the pool. The central Ymca is one of the oldest facilities in San Jose that can seriously go under renovation. Don’t get me wrong! They do have great programs and summer activities for the kids and even Financial aid so no one is excluded. One last thing! can the A/C be turned on in the weight room it is extremely humid in there.

The pool is very accessible. I like to lap swim, and the available times in the outdoor pool is convenient for me.

Aqua fitness classes, wonderful instructors. I like the friendly greeting when I check in each day and YMCA employees smiing and saying hello in the hallways.

Great water aerobics instructor
I really like the early morning 6:15 a.m. water aerobics classes
The swim classes have helped my son with his confidence swimming. Due to him falling into a pool at a very young age and almost drowning, he has been extremely scared with being in water. Since starting the swim lessons he has gain confidence and learning so much thanks to his instructor, Joey. Joey has been very helpful and my son trust him fully while in the water.
