crew is very nice , responsive , and professional , equipment is 99% of the times functional and well maintained
only thing i would recommend, is more frequent monitoring of the wipes dispenser , is see more cases where the main equipment gym dispenser is empty
also it would be nice to add one more day for pickeball , may times i ss LOTS of poeple waiting in line :)
still 10 is the right score !

Wide variety of classes. Clean facilities, friendly staff and instructors
the instructors are enthusiastic and so are the folks taking the class, but I am concerned that the signs to keep us out if we are late go up too soon. The other day I stopped to use the restroom before going into class. I was less than five minutes late and all the doors were locked against intruders. The next week, people sauntered in and the signs didn't go up until 15 minutes after the class was supposed to start. Let's have some mercy for those of us fighting traffic to get there.

I have been a member of the Central YMCA in North San Jose for a year and have come to appreciate its welcoming, community‑oriented atmosphere. The staff and regular members create a genuine sense of belonging—many feel like a second family, and I often see familiar faces at the facility. I regularly use the YMCA app to monitor my activity level and record workouts, and I find its features intuitive and helpful for tracking progress. The Central YMCA location is convenient and well maintained, which makes it easy to incorporate visits into my routine. Although academic commitments have kept me from attending group classes so far, I plan to enroll in exercise classes this season to become more involved. Thank you for requesting my input; I am pleased to share feedback that I hope will continue to strengthen the Central YMCA’s reputation in our community.
Deep water indoor swimming pool, plus Precor Recumbant bikes with easily adjustible intensity levels.

Organized and structured. Friendly staff. My child really enjoys her swim class.
My daughter loves taking lessons at the Y! She has a lot of fun in her lessons and she has been making good progress in her swimming skills. We love the swimming program at the YMCA

I have neurological issues that prevent me from doing certain things so I like the fact that the YMCA has programs that can take my time with as well as a variety of classes I'd like to try and I also have issues with my meniscus in the lack of blood flow through my right knee
I like the place because it's a completely family-friendly place. I love seeing my little daughter there near me and being able to see me exercising; these are memories and habits that stay in my mind healthy.

Group x coaches are excellent, so talented and giving to our community. I think as a community do a found raiser just for them because they care for our health like possibly more then a doctor! I appreciate Kelly the new group x director very sweet kind and a great coach ! Al, Suzzane, Amy, Dave M just to name a few but our coaches are so wonderful I go back more and more! Thank you !

Is there a problem with hot water for the upstairs women's showers? It's winter so the hot water is slow to get through the pipes sure, but it seems these past couple of weeks to take an extra long time to arrive and the shower water is low pressure.
