Last fall our local Southern Propane office had mechanical issues with their delivery vehicle, about the time our monitoring tank system let them know we needed propane. I, like several other customers were running low on propane which they were aware of, in the middle of severe cold spell. We have gas logs (tankless water heater as well), which we use in these difficult times to not overwork our HVAC unit. I witnessed firsthand the customer service this office could offer each of their customers in the same situation I was in. I will explain. Due to their delivery truck breakdown, they contracted with another company to deliver propane, while repairs were being done to their delivery vehicle. That vehicle experienced mechanical problems the day they arrived to re-fill my tank, actually trying to unload the propane. Not to be deterred, Southern Propane I believe, contracted with another company to help. Our tank level was extremely low. They went way and above delivering excellent quality customer service for each of us. I pay my propane bill in person at the Lugoff office. During this entire ordeal, that office kept us informed of their efforts to resolve this unforeseeable situation. Always receive professional courtesy from the office personnel while visiting their office. Thank you for your time.
