The Y is a place of positivity and good energy. From walking in the door in the morning, and feeling the warm inviting atmosphere, it always give me a good start to my day.
The facility is always clean and well maintained. The amount of activities and options for health and fitness that our members have is head and shoulders above any health/wellness facility in the GLBR. The Y provides a safe family oriented facility. The staff is always courteous and friendly. I love the Y.
I have noticed though that the management it seems lately is not as engaging as before. A lot of times they seem like they are in a rush. I'm sure they are very busy with the running of the facility.
After my experience in 20+ years of managing a multi-million dollar corporation and training managers I believe that management should always practice the 10:5 Rule, as an example setter and for Y culture.

My favorite things to do at the Y are to participate in the group classes like Zumba or Brazilian Dance and to take my boys swimming in the pool.

The YMCA is my Happy Place and when I’m done with my workout it makes for a great day. I feel safe as well. The facility is clean and up to date and friendly as well. The employees makes you feel special and happy to see you as well.

I love most things about the Y. The people who work there..the facilities. But here’s what annoys the heck out of me. Too many people - mostly younger - sit on machines/benches looking at their smartphones for long periods of time.In my opinion, this has gotten out of hand. Not sure what the solution would be but believe it needs to be addressed. Thanks for your time👍
