I like how accessible they are to the community.
Nothing beats the excitement and happiness in my kids voice when he tells me all about his experiences and the friends he made at camp. Going to Camp Watia is most definitely the highlight of his year, and knowing he is somewhere that he can grow in mind, body, and spirit, while mom and dad knows he is in good, safe hands makes it the highlight of our year as well. Returning to camp year after year, watching the older kids and being excited for his turn, and then seeing the younger kids arrive, and remembering how it felt when he was first coming to camp, instills a sense of belonging and connectedness in him that has become foundational to who he is. We have only been home from camp for a few weeks now, and are already planning our camp experience for next year. Thank you to Shannon Raab, Zay Latham, and the whole Camp Watia team for making it happen.
The counselors are thoughtful and compassionate, and my kids have been having a great time thus far.

I like how there is a lot of time outdoors and playing in the creek. I like the intentional activities. I have been impressed by Molly’s leadership on-site!
We love the YMCA Afterschool program! We love the fact they have school's out days, Spring Break, Christmas Break, etc in case we need them. Summer camp is always great too. Can't wait for both of our kids to be on the same schedule next year.

The program and staff are wonderful! My daughter really enjoys it. Molly is doing a great job with the program.
My son said this was the most fun camp he has ever done. Loved that they were outside doing adventure activities every day.
I love the outdoor time and creative time our granddaughter experiences everyday! She loves being with so many of her friends from school! The counselors are always responsive and helpful .
All I know is that my 6 year old loves camp and is happy and tired when I pick her up each day!
My kids enjoy the variety of activities they are offered including field trips and going to the pool. They also like to see their friends from other schools during schools out days!

This summer the Beaverdam Y camo has been very organized and communicative. The activies have been engaging. I live that they are going to the much closer pool. Thanks for a great summer!
My 12 year old loved the time in the lake. She appreciated the counselors paying attention to her (and realize that she wasn't eating) and take the time to talk to her about it. (I appreciate it too!) She loved the variety of things to do as well as the variety of great people to do them with.
My child has been going to the YMCA summer camps since he was 5
He is aging out and that is bittersweet . I think this is a great thing to have for all children. I hoped it could be a bit cheaper. For parents of siblings...and for the a CILT program as well. I have heard parents mention how expensive it is. And I think it should be accessible and affordable for all parents
My child always says he has fun and likes all the teachers.

I'm a single grandmother raising 3 kids .I work for the school helps me out a lot schedule works for me kids been going to this program for yrs.il love it and the staff. Especially will, hope miss you lol , sam 5hank you for watching over my grandkids, and lexi love you guys. Sheila Logan
A good variety for all ages.
What I like about the program is how you all help the kids internet with others and give them positive growth how to be their self and how to accept others among other things that the counselors teaches thank you all for all that I do for the children
Counselors are great and our kids had so much fun!
Outdoor time, counselors are great this year.
