Got the cut I wanted. Cost was more than I wanted to pay. I would like to see the old 50s and 60s haircuts be around 20 to 25 dollars without tip. Those cuts were cut short at the ears #1 and taper up to hair length of 1 to 1 1/2” length to comb and have a part. Leave 1 to 1 1/2” for comb over the top. Similar to your 33.00 cut.
Your barbers are always asking how you want to have your hair cut (Style). That is good. I just have a hard time finding the words to describe the cut.
I get a yearly buzz cut because I have social anxiety and talking with a barber is a nightmare. However, the lady this time did the usual small talk and then zilch. It was amazing. If she was my usual barber I’d start getting real hair cuts.
