Not to downplay a good review but, I’m a guy with a full head of hair at 46 so I’m pretty easy to please. However, Floyd’s seems to be really good at maintaining a certain level of talented staff. Im usually booking last minute, which is made very easy with the app, so I’m rarely choosing a specific hairdresser- and I’d say my satisfaction is 9.9 out of 10 overall after dozens of visits.
I like that it is a gender-neutral space where anyone can come for a non-judgmental barbershop experience. Staff are queer and trans friendly, which means a lot to me.

Amazing service! I was so impressed with my hairstylists attention to detail and meticulousness. She was fantastic. The only reason it’s a 9 rather than a 10 is the price is a bit steep so I’m not sure I could recommend it to a friend, although maybe it’s fair for the level of service.
All of your employees are very nice and great technicians.
I have been going here for years and the cuts are always consistently good. It’s one of the few places in Boston/Cambridge that you can get a great cut for a decent price. The stylists are awesome and they bring their personality to work, which I love. Lots of queer representation in staff always makes it feel like a safe space.
