The stylist’s also don’t just recommend products for the sake of recommending them: they recommend them based on your hair type and what kind of style you’re looking for.

Clear process and nice people
Well I tell you I’m a 61yo male with lots of grey hair and I wasn’t sure what to expect. Would I be the only older guy at this place?It was awesome. Lots of younger clientele, but it was a good mix. Most importantly, I felt at ease. Everyone was incredibly nice.
Oh yea and by the way, one of the best cuts I’ve ever gotten.

The only reason I come to Floyd’s is Mimi. Most of the Floyd’s employees give a cut that’s roughly equivalent to great clips. But Mimi actually gives me a cut worth 40 dollars. This woman has such a good work ethic she doesn’t even realize that she puts about 15 minutes of extra effort into my cut which makes it so it looks better as it grows back out. Mimi is awesome, she cuts my hair like I’m her son and we’re about to have family pictures. When it comes to cuts like mine that use trimmers the difference between average and great is just how many times they go over, how many extra guards they use to make the fade look good, and how much attention to detail they put into the effect the trimmers create. If you lose Mimi I won’t be coming back, I’ve had plenty of cuts from the other Floyd’s people and they just aren’t good enough for 40 dollars. Mimi is a diamond in the rough employee, silently providing a level of service that’s above her coworkers.
