My stylist Natalia communicates very well with me. She always gives me the best haircuts. I have never gotten a shampoo and massage as good as hers. She’s a true artist.

I love that the haircut types are not gendered.

The front desk staff could do a better job of not assuming anyone’s gender (ie referring to everyone as “they” instead of using a binary pronoun for someone). I don’t necessarily want a stranger to ask me my pronouns, but it would make it a more comfortable environment for everyone if they just went to the “they” default instead.

I like the way my stylist/barber, Daniel,cuts my hair. We have a little conversation prior to cutting my hair just so he knows exactly how I want my hair cut.

The place is consistently tidy, the music is great, the decor is fun, and the energy is friendly in a way that actually feels authentic. Every visit is smooth, and the cuts are reliably solid. Great shop, great vibe, easy five stars.

Every cut a I've gotten there has reinforced that I can trust Floyd's to hire skilled barbers. That means I know I'm going to get a good cut. Nothing else matters as much to me as that point.

They nailed all of the secondary points as well: Polite staff, efficient reservations, punctuality, clean facility and equipment, friendly barber, comfortable space.
