Jennifer is super awesome! My nephew really loves getting his haircut by her and we've visited her exclusively several times the last year. I did have a couple issues with the booking I made for 8/24. I called to let reception know I would be a few minutes late as I had a work meeting that ran over. We walked in at 5:41 and were told we would have to be added to the walk in list by reception and that there wouldn't be enough time to do a kid's cut for my nephew and would get whoever freed up. I then asked if I could book for Saturday as Jennifer was off Thursday/Friday and was told she only had availability for 630P; online booking showed she had availability all day. I ended up booking for Monday 8/29 and had no wait when we arrived which has not been the case on previous visits with scheduled appointments. To reference the the reason we were turned away on 8/24: every other visit we have had to wait a minimum of 10 minutes even though we booked, which we did patiently and without issue/complaint. Also, I don't really understand why we were turned away for being 11 minutes late for a 30 minute time slot when his haircut from the appointment on 8/29 took less than 20 minutes including processing payment. No complaints to Jennifer whatsoever, but really seemed like the woman working the desk didn't care to work with us being 1 minute late for the "cutoff."

Kay was amazing! She is professional, looked at the pictures of the cut I wanted and did exactly what was pictured! Plus, she is a sweetheart to boot. I really liked the texture powder she suggested.

I really appreciate the people who are patient with disabled customers. It makes me so happy to see people treating disabled folks with respect and taking the time to cut their hair despite the challenges they might face. The last two times I’ve been to Floyd’s I’ve seen stylists treat disabled customers just like everyone else and it just goes to help restore my faith in humanity. Thank you for being so cool.
