I walked into a wide open facility with hundreds of examples of various metals, sizes, shapes, etc. The employee showed me what I requested, gave me time to make my decisions, took a moment to cut a specific piece of brass round stock for an upcoming project, and soon I was on my way.
Soon after getting back to my shop I thought of more things I could accomplish now that I know a place to get the proper metals to do the job correctly.
