As a backyard hack, consummate DYI metal fabricator, it is often embarrassing to have to procure supplies from the big boys as they are not set up for dealing in small quantities. Metal Supermarkets is just as knowledgeable and professional as the major suppliers but they are set up to deal with the small guys like me. In other words, I get the same professional-level service from Metal Supermarkets in buying stick of round stock that I would if I were buying 3 miles of rail steel. The Edmonton South crew have been a constant for me over the past several years. Same friendly faces, same professional and courteous service. They go above and beyond for even the small fry like me. Great bunch of people.
