Great atmosphere

This is a place where I go to train and exercise, but also to unwind, socialize, and recharge. California Family Fitness is a good gym that promotes physical activity, provides a safe, functional, and comfortable workout environment, and creates a pleasant and enjoyable atmosphere for recreation and socialization.

Citrus Heights has a very warm and friendly atmosphere. It feels nice when you walk in and .

I like the silver fitness classes. I have a trainer I really like. I joined after knee surgery and too kick start myself I signed for both.
I would like to check out some other classes just haven’t done it yet.

Staff very friendly and enjoy cycle instructor but need more cycle classes!

I pretty much like everything about the club, but especially the way it's maintained. Management is alway responsive to the needs of the members. And I love the pool and hot tub; I use them three times a week.

I would like to recognize Tim the assistant manager at Sunrise Calfit. There was an elderly man in the locker room one evening. I notice him because I saw him dressing to leave the club before I showered and he was still there after I showered - just sitting on a bench. Tim wandered in to the locker room and the man addressed him. He explained to Tim that he had "PTSD" and he could not locate his shoes. Tim stopped what he was doing and helped the man by searching every open locker. The shoes were not found but Tim explained to the man that every locker would be searched in the evening and if the shoes turned up they would put them in lost and found. It showed that Tim was sensitive to this mans predicament and his life condition. He could easily have said to the man that they would search the lockers tonight and if the shoes were found, they will be in lost and found and carried on with what he was doing. But Tim did the right thing, recognized the mans condition, and went above and beyond showing that he cared for this mans misfortune. Customer service yes, but with a distinctly human touch.

I like that most people at the front desk greet me every morning with my name and a friendly word and smile. I also enjoy the relaxed, welcoming feeling of the clientele.
