How interactive and engaging they are
My daughter was engaged all day and loved swimming.
Old school kid games (not technology - makes them use their creativity) and also the physically play games (outside play or in the gym).
And they get to try new foods/snacks that I don’t normally have at home.
We love the Y after school care at Sand Creek Elementary. The staff are very intentional with the kids, providing many opportunities to participate in a variety of activities and learn valuable life skills.

One suggestion, I stopped by the site early this morning (7:45am). There were no children present yet.
There were 2 adult males present. Shouldn't there be 1 male and 1 female on duty? If a little girl was dropped off early with no other children, she would be left with 2 adult males. This may not be the best approach. Just a thought, not a criticism.

I love how this location has kept my child active and having fun! Their daily routine so far has included numerous sports and inventions. My child is in such a good mood when I pick her up and just raves about her new friends and the daily activities. Not being on electronics all day is a game changer! The staff has been amazing and we are both so thankful for this wonderful summer opportunity! 🙏 Thank you YMCA New Pal!

The summer camp all around is great with the kids and they go above and beyond to make sure the kids enjoy their summer breaks. From the daily activities to the different days they have at summer camp for the kids I would definitely recommend the summer camp to any parent.
Flexibility
Keeping the kids active all day is great for them gives them a safe place to get out all their energy during the weekdays in the summer when most parents have work.
Love the summer camp for kids.
Need to see a star master at the Avondale ymca. There is none.
Affordable, reliable, trustworthy care
This program is fantastic. My daughter loves the YMCA program. I honestly don't have enough good things say, it is a wonderful program for working parents.
That the kids stay busy all day
Swimming, amount of staff to help with kids, convenience of hours
Engaged and caring staff, consistent care, and fun activities (according to my daughter!)
