Very good water exercise classes. I have tried several different ones and enjoy each different instructor. Lots of variety with aerobic, mobility and core work . Really geared to all abilities . Instructors and participants very friendly and welcoming .
I came for lap lane swim. It doesn't require registration which is so convenient comparing to my home Y at the Hendricks regional hospital of Avon. But it doesn't have sauna which is a little disappointing. Otherwise it's perfect.

The people that work at the ortho y are great. Better variety of activities than some of the others. Everyone cannot do or want to do Les Mills workouts
Ortho Y is a peaceful, loving, encouraging space. From the front desk, instructors and members, you find support and encouragement! I love my classes and all of the instructors!!!!!
I like using all of my favorite equipment, treadmill, bike, rowing machine. I also like using the gym to shoot baskets.
The therapies that are available at OrthoIndy in the Veterans center, the programs the YMCA offers, also it’s a nice gym.
Clean facility, attentive staff, and friendly atmosphere are just a few reasons the Ortho Indy YMCA gets my vote for the best-in-class Y in the Indianapolis metro.

The staff at OrthoIndy are always courteous and pleasant, especially when you may find working out challenging. However, I am beginning to enjoy it. There are also group workouts that I am going to reserve time to participate. The scheduled group workouts also take into account if you are a early riser, or later in the day workout person.
U have wellness program! My husband has finished his physical therapy. And he want to continue doing the exercises the therapist recommended! One of ur representative say he would work with my husband to accommodate those exercises!
Being the water person, I love the aquatics program and the staff. Isaac, victor, and the lifeguards do a great job at making sure the area is safe.
Donna always gives you an excellent workout in her water aerobics class, which is evident by the number of people that attend her classes. Lisa's Friday class is in serious need of help. She is condescending to participants and the overall class is boring. No music and the instructor isn't engaged with the class....she's preaching AT us. I'll try 1 more Friday and see how it goes. Laura and Erlene are great also. They understand how to teach their class.

We are seniors and enjoy the varied ways to opportunities to stay active. The people - staff and participants -- always make it fun.
Everyone, from staff to other members is so friendly. Even though this is off topic, I really appreciate the cleanliness of the entire facility.
Not so busy that I can work out with usually only small waits for some strength machines. Grandkids take swim lessons which have a drawback in my view because instructors for their class change almost weekly, so each instructor starts anew not knowing what teaching techniques work best for them. Also, If instructors were more regular, kids would be able to build more trust in them week by week.
I like the indoor track and pool.
I like the fact that you’re there you can come in anytime and get your workout in and stuff. The only thing about it is that I don’t utilize the programs and activities as I should.
