The Y has given me the opportunity to meet like minded people who want to take care of their bodies and it was one of the first things I did when I moved to Fort Myers 10 years ago.
I am 95 now and different things come in the way of my attending, but there’s no question that my body knows when I miss!

We have belonged to the YMCA in Fort Myers since we moved here in 2020. We've always belonged to the Y every place we lived, our last being in Hollywood FL. In comparison to other facilities, the Fort Myers Y cannot compete with the size and amenities offered at larger buildings. We would love to see the Fort Myers Y expand and get into a larger building. We remain loyal to the Y because of their athletic programs for our children and the gym is wonderful! I cannot comment on adult fitness classes because I don't take them but I'm sure they're wonderful. They always have friendly and welcoming employees.

Aside from the obvious health benefit of MOVING and exercising the body, there's the community. Seeing and getting to know people over the last six months has been great. Leese is amazing; keep her! Her energy, her joy, her inclusiveness is everything.
How kind everyone is offers many classes
They keep me active. They’re not always the same. There are some differences almost every time I love Leez she’s excellent and I also like the other ladies for Cynthia and I can’t remember the other ladies name but they’re all very good. They engage us. I love the people that go there they’re also friendly people at the desk are all so very friendly very helpful always smiling. It’s a good place.
