Wide variety of classes

Elliptical, sauna, pool

The area where you can work out with the free weights, the dumbbells and the machines is large and has a lot of equipment, which is all good. I enjoy playing pickle ball in the gym on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays.

I love the cardio drumming class ! Debbie Marz makes the class so much fun!

I like the gym workout equipment with the exception of needing more Nu Step bikes. Also like the various health fairs, etc.

A greater variety of classes for all ages & skill levels. You also have the most outstanding water aerobics teacher - Jan.

All but the music choice is run well. I especially like the air quality and the machines. Some members are a bit too social while using the machines. The reception dest always has helpfully friendly staff

I use the weights and treadmills, as does my wife. Rarely is a machine out of order or have any functional problems, all promptly fixed or attended to. Love the staff. The only criticisms I would ever have are the same for any gym, some gym goers just sitting at a station forever, doing little to mothing and temperature some days. Neither are things you can realistically change. I'm sure some say its too cold, some too hot. Way it goes. Thanks for having a nice gym where I don't want for any missing equipment and attentive staff.

The water aerobic classes. Jan is a great teacher.

The options for classes to sign up for is abundant. Love the classes. Easy to sign you for in the app. Instructors are knowledgeable.

I like the classes and the workout area. The staff is knowledgeable and very friendly.

There’s a good variety and pickle ball is a great plus the workout equipment is also excellent.
(Love the sauna).

The wieghts are great but some older folks are staying on some stations for 20-30 mins or more. Lots of others are getting frustrated

Wife and I love everything about the Englewood YMCA.
But if your looking for suggestions, here goes.

It would be great if you could replace / upgrade at least one if not both of your two Concept 2 Rowing Machines. The resistance adjustment does not seem to work on either one. Also the newer models have a PM5 MONITOR, which allows you to track and analyze your workouts through your phone with a Concept2 App.
You have a small community of "on the water rowers" in Englewood, and if any of them use the YMCA to train, I am sure they would appreciate it.
