We took swim lessons at the Shady Grove YMCA two years ago and it wasn't great. There were several instructions, none of whom seemed to have a clear plan for the class and none of whom showed any great enthusiasm. That was my expectation for this class, so I was beyond thrilled with what we actually received. The teacher had a clear lesson plan with goals, was very organized about moving from one activity to another, and was very enthusiastic about dealing with the kids. He seemed to really enjoy what he was doing, and he was very good at it. I cannot tell you how much I appreciated having my daughter in lessons with him, and I would sign her up for many more if I knew he was going to be the instructor.
