Evening classes and options
I really like the variety of programming that my local YMCA offers. However, I would like to see less dancing type classes. Perhaps tai chi or Celtic stick fighting.

I moved to MA from CA last year, and one of the things I hated to leave was my gym. I was a member for close to 15 years. I loved my classes and instructors, and I never thought I'd find any place comparable.
I joined the Y last February and discovered that it offers the exact same type of classes my former gym had, which was a Les Mills format, but my gym did not use the Les Mills name.
I was immediately able to participate in the classes I love, which are mainly Body Pump and Body Combat.
I also found instructors that are amazing! Jessica and Anissa are so talented, inspiring, dedicated, knowledgeable, friendly, and bring great energy to the class. They both make a point to introduce themselves to anyone new in the class and make them feel welcome. They also make an effort learn all of our names.
I have found all of the equipment and technology to be very up to date. The facilities are clean and well maintained, and there is a very welcoming feeling. The app and communications are easy to manage. It's located in a beautiful area, and it's close to where I live.

Very easier sign up. Facility looks very clean. Have not used it yet.

Not many people in gym in morning. Very good variety of equipment, child care. Lots of classes geared toward older population and people just starting back up into fitness. Mobility and balance classes

Kidzone is great - I wouldn't be able to go to the gym without it and the staff is great.
The playspace for the kids to get energy out in cold/bad weather.

Enhanced Fitness. All of the instructors are excellent. The program is perfect and is an important part of my life and will continue to be.so in the future.. .

Joshua Banks is great with the basketball program as well as the other volunteers. Love the way they teach the kids and interact with them.
