Very inclusive teaching styles for all skill levels. Karma classes are a great price point for those who cannot commit to a membership or are trying out hot yoga for the first time.
Outstanding hot yoga studio that is welcoming, deeply grounded in all pillars of yoga, and yet offers an excellent full body workout. Modify if the heat is new to you, but know that you won’t find a better community in the Twin Cities (or world, since they are one of 75 studios founded in Canada).

Beautiful looking studio inside. The parking lot spots are too tight & the lot is very full. The amount of classes and time slots is fantastic! It was motivating to see a full class with so many participants of various ages & levels of yoga ability. I’m looking forward to getting stronger , more flexible and trying other classes. Great location on Waverley.
Welcoming people and physical environment. All bodies and abilities without judgement and modifications given at each class. Karma fee is a good thing; scheduling workouts makes sense. I like that there are several showers no outside shoes allowed and a environmentally friendly soap and lotion provided
I love Modo yoga, staff is great.
My only complaint would be cleanliness in the Barre room at times, hair and dust.

As has been the case every single time i have taken a class at the Lake Street Modo, i came away highly satisfied, deeply cleansed, and so much the better for having gone.
Instructor Mike (i believe that was his name) was highly competent, caring and
non-invasively encouraging.

Modo is really a place for everyone. Whether you’re the so called super yogi or that person who is just starting a yogic journey. Truly accessible for all people. And to find a place where everyone is accepted and welcomed. I see that when I come to modo. From the Sima leaders who are those friendly and welcoming first line. To the teachers who give of themselves to the students. And the EEs who keep the place looking sharp. To Jolene’s beautiful artwork on the walls. To Mika’s keeping it all Together and organized and running everyday.
