convenient location and quality instruction
I attended a class at Waverly a couple of months ago that was taught by Ken Wong. In that particular class, an individual was taking photos, presumably to be posted in a newsletter or on social media. I think the photographer's name was Philly D or Philly Cheesesteak or something to that effect.
Before the class began, the photographer asked if anyone did not want their photo taken. I raised my hand because I did not want my photo taken. He acknowledged my request.
When I received the August 29, 2017 email with the subject line "September News & Updates", I was surprise to see myself in the background of the photo under the "Fall & Winter Schedule Changes" section. While you cannot see my face, I was under the impression that I would not be photographed at all. Needless to say, I am disappointed that my request to not be photographed was not respected.
I would suggest that if you want to take photos of students for promotional purposes, written consent be obtained before class begins. Thank you.

Instructors are all knowledgeable and guide practice well. The atmosphere is welcoming and they have a fantastic schedule.
Just seems nice and easy to get into for someone who hasn't done a lot of yoga before.
The instruction is excellent I appreciate how it is mixed up. I also appreciate when alternative poses are given as my flexibility is not as good as most of the students.

Lise is very friendly, extremely welcoming and helpful. Clean facilities with accommodating products like locks for lockers, shampoo, soap, conditioner, tampons.

I love the instructor's soothing voice that keeps me at peace even during the most intense yoga positions! I felt so calm during their class. So happy to have tried their class; will definitely come back soon!!!

Everyone is always really nice, and I love the emphasis on individual progress. One of the reasons I go to yoga is to distress and work on my specific weaknesses. It's great to be in an environment that encourages me to do exactly what I feel I need to do for my needs instead of pushing an agenda of what other people think my progress should look like. I love it!
