Client Testimonials
The friendly greeting when you register for the practice. The very talented instructor
The hot yoga studio is perfect. (A little too hot though). But the room is awesome.
The instructors are very good.
It’s a fairly convenient location.
Generally good amount of parking.
The Karma class on Friday evenings can’t be beat! (Never discontinue these two classes).
The change room is way too small.
And the entrance is tight.
But overall this is an amazing place.
Thank you.
Friendly and good teachers
It’s welcoming, the people are friendly, it’s clean, pose modifications are described and adjustments offered, it always makes me feel better when I leave than I felt when I arrived.
Very pleasing and calming environment. Always helpful and friendly staff.
Great
Great yoga environment, good selection/variety of classes and instructors, convenient location for me, and very comfortable to be with the people in the space. Serious yoga, but fun too.
I really appreciate the non judgemental atmosphere at modo! I can catch a class first thing in the morning or after a 12 hour shift on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I'm new to yoga but as my introductory studio I feel welcome and that I've gained so much in a short period of time. Namaste.
I love the little-taped corners of where to put your mat in the studio... and the pre-registration process is soooooooo easy. Both of these tools make it easy to relax about attending if you are running from work to class. Thank you for all you do!
Everything
Love the quality of instructors, convenient class times and variety
Good instruction. Inviting and calm atmosphere.
Great instructors, comfortable space, as a new member I've been welcomed.
love it all...accessible, pleasurable, respectful
Staff are super nice
I loved the practice, the heat of the room, and the staff. The instructor who led the community class at 6 pm on Wednesday January 17th was new - she said it was her third time teaching that type of class but she was awesome!
Super welcoming environment.. clean studio. The teachers are insightful and so knowledgeable
The dedication and kindness every member of Moksha Donald St. shows.
Friendliness, Openness, Comfortable in my own skin. Good vibes.
Focussed on a yoga environment. Studio vibe, great instructors. Lots of class offerings.
Love hot yoga and all the instructors so far. Wish there was more hot hantha classes available.
I had never tried any form of yoga. My first experience was great. The unlimited classes for a set price is great!
I live 30 minutes out of town so I get nervous about the policy to be there 10 minutes prior to class. I planned on being there 20 Minutes early for my first class to have time to ask questions.... i barely made it for the 10 minute cut off 😬 That would of been my fault, butnitnwpuld of hurt to pay the $20 no show on top of the gas I used to get there and the babysitter I paid to watch my son as I am a single mother.
On that note, it would also be nice if the Hot Yoga would have some earlier classes like 7pm or 8pm because of the commuting. But I'll take what I can get as I'm doing this for mental health reasons
Friendly staff, calm and welcoming environment. Classes can be done at any skill level, great instructors
I love Moksha!
I like the staff.and free parking
Friendly place clean environment
Service with a smile :)
Carpooling means getting a free mat rental.. this was a nice surprise for me.
Class Leaders are quite detailed in their descriptions of what we should do in order to achieve the most from a pose etc.
Love hot yoga.
Love how each teacher plays with the poses in moksha and both flow classes! Went to hot flow with Sean yesterday and had so much fun trying the mods of some really wild postures (inverted pigeon, was it?). All around adore the studio, and the 6am classes with music. I think the humidity has also been improved since before break when it was negligible, but would like to reiterate that I'd love if the 6am classes were consistently hot to the proper temperatures (sometimes there's low attendance so body heat doesn't contribute). Thanks so much for everything you guys do! Attending your studio has easily contributed to a waaaay better life for me physically, mentally, and philosophically. :)
I can't say enough about the classes offered at the studios. I think what sets Moksha apart from other studios in Winnipeg is the fusion of mind body spirit as exemplified by the Hot Haitha restorative classes led by Lise Mireault. She speaks on the 7 pillars of yoga in her weekly intention prior to class, which really sets the stage for the lovely restorative class she presents. Last week she spoke on the community of Moksha, showing love and kindness to our fellow members. Isn't that what is needed in our sometimes troubled world?
Kudos also to Ken Wong, I really enjoy his classes, including the SpiritFusion Hot Yoga he led at the Donald studio. Namaste
