Client Testimonials
Simple but very effective moves, I was sore the next day. Lots of modifications for different levels and assistance from staff.
The instructors and caring, thorough, encouraging and professional. The facility is great. Intimate but has unexpected amenities.
The instructor was great. The person at the front desk was very friendly and made everything easy.
I thoroughly enjoy my workout at Barre3.
I love that I can modify the workout around my tight shoulders, sore back and knee.
I also love that it engages my mind to work with my body to get a great workout.
I stay sore, but in a good way!
All of it and the childcare is key for me!
Holly was great.
Love the variety of classes
Love the teachers, studio, classes and daycare staff!
The instructor, the cleanliness of studio, the class, the music
The people were friendly and welcoming. The instructor was excellent. The studio was clean and bright. The exercise was fun and challenging
Teachers are great and fun, and always willing to help you get the position correct.
Energy of instructors. Each one brings a different approach and different movements to keep me on my toes. I like the constant movement.
Intense, hard workout. Great instructor, who was peppy and encouraging.
Clean studio, focused class
Every instructor I've had in class does something just a little different, so it's a similar experience, but different workout each time. I love it!
Great atmosphere, instructor, music. Thank you!
The teachers seem very knowledgeable, informative and have great attitudes. They make it fun.
The exercise is physically challenging, but very personal. The instructors are so incredibly positive and encouraging. I always leave Barre3 feeling stronger in body and spirit. Thank you so much for all of the wonderful work that you do.
I felt very welcomed and valued the whole time I was there.
Great workout, nice environment
It's a full and thorough workout for anyone training to be a dancer.
The teachers are friendly and keep guiding us throughout the class to ensure we have the right posture and offer alternatives for people with special needs. I love that the workout has different levels so I can tailor it to my needs for the day. I also like that there is an element of stretching which I think is very important.
I love the workouts, the instructors, the whole vibe of the studio! I do, however, want to note that I recently had a class that I felt strayed a little from the usual Barre3 attitude, both in instructor personality and workout itself. It was my free b-day class, so I didn't feel right complaining (and still don't), but I think maybe you'd want to know. It was on 9/15 and I believe the instructor was Katie G. I was surprised that she did not greet the class and introduce herself or even ask how the group was doing and if there were any injuries. Maybe she's used to having the same crew on Tuesday's at that time and has stopped asking, or maybe she was having a bad day. Everyone's allowed that. But then the workout itself seemed a little different than what I've come to love about Barre 3, or any brand of barre for that matter. Many of the activities were sped up to a speed that did not feel like barre. Nor did they feel safe. I've taken plenty of classes with other instructors where the warm up gets moving pretty fast, and that's great. But this felt different. I actually thought, "This is how people throw their backs out." It felt more like a boot camp class than barre. During glute work the tempo was sped up again and I realized I'm not even connecting with the muscle at this speed, just swinging my leg to keep up. So I slowed down. The same thing happened with a few other sections. I know that's up to everyone to do what feels right for their body and make the class theirs, but there was a general vibe from the instructor that was not inclusive or encouraging. Just yesterday I took a class with Vicki M. and noted how she gave audible cues about slowing down if that feels better. And even when we were rocking the tempo during the warm up, it still felt safe and felt like barre. It got the heart rate up without making me think I was going to fall over or lose a few vertebrae. I know now that particular instructor is not my style and I will probably avoid her classes. Everything else about Barre3 is fantastic and I thoroughly enjoy sweating my butt off there! Thank you!
Put most simply, I love the workout. But the childcare helps immensely (Molly and Michelle are wonderful), the people are super friendly, the studio is clean and bright, and you offer - mostly - convenient times.
Everything!!
good workout without high impact. clean, professional environment. convenient classes.
nice mix of the three elements promoted: ballet, Pilates and yoga.
Unfortunately, somewhat inconsistent level of teachers
I love the studio and the awesome staff. I love the location and the people that come to take class. The vibe is unlike any other studio and it makes it feel cozy.
The space is great and enjoyed the music and good workout!
The combo of serious muscle work and stretching
