I think you need to see which classes fill up quickly and determine whether you need to have a larger room or more classes like it through out the day for members to go to. I love the Les Mills Body Pump and Grit classes. I would consider taking spin again if it was in a different room. It’s a small cave in there and the participants get way too hot and sweaty for the size of the room. It’s really unappealing. I think that dark room would be more suited to yoga.

I love the personal training and nutrition programs. Having knowledgeable experts available to develop customized plans for my goals and needs is appreciated.

I am doong personal training and i love it
well I just use all the machinery in there the last few months of our new membership and so far it's been great! I love the fact that I can come in on Saturday morning and go back and shoot baskets in the gym after I'm done. There's nowhere in town you can do that!. So there's a lot of extras at the y that I'm really enjoying, but I don't participate in any extra programs or classes. However my wife does and the only knock that we have is that the darn things fill up so quickly! I guess there's a lot of us and so few classes and people to run them. If there's a way to expand that we would love it! So there you have it
I enjoy using the pool 3x a week to exercise w/o taking part in a class.
Besides the cleanliness of the water and the surrounding areas, I like the friendly life quards, the front desk people, and overall atmosphere.
New machines look good to attract more members. Good strategy, I hope membership fee would be less for senior people. One complaint is that TVs are removed and nothing to watch while doing stationary bike. I wonder if new TV monitors will be set back soon or permanently removed???

I’m a member at the Venice location. I like Spin classes the best. I have a billing issue that I would like to document. I recently updated my credit card with your billing dept. However, instead of charging my usual monthly fee of $62, I was charged $92 - an additional $30 for the expired card. I spoke with Mandy Barton (?) and staff in your Palmer Ranch location and was promised a refund of the $30, indicating it would be deducted from my next monthly dues. Please confirm this to me in writing at your next convenience. Thank you, Name removed

As a senior, I enjoy the friendly atmosphere and the wonderful classes offered by this Y location.
Especially Primetime and Sit& Fit.
I like how clean and easy to use the machines and the sports equipment is. The staff is nice and the overall environment is top. Better than other gyms. I love the YMCA.
The variety of classes and the program instructors.
The only problem I have is with people sitting on weight machines for extended periods of time scrolling through their phones while I and others have to wait to use those machines. A dose of simple common courtesy would help.

I like that the programs are well-organized and run by people who really care. It makes a big difference. The activities are well-organized and there’s always something for everyone, no matter your age or fitness level.

This location has more options than any gym I’ve ever been to. Tons of different types of equipment. Tons of amenities and an enormous variety of classes.
Plus the staff has always been friendly and professional.
My family loves this gym. I’m thankful to have it here in S Sarasota.
