There are many types of exercise programs available. The schedule is usually pretty good for group exercise....I do the yoga classes...although it would be nice to have yoga midday on Fridays. The availability of treadmills etc is good too. The Y will be even more important for us as winter comes. My wife and I are glad we heard about the Y from friends. Thanks.
I just really like going there. No one bothers you. I do my own routine with machines and free weights.

The senior activities are so important . The only thing we need is another senior fitness class because only having one doesn’t cut it.
Starting off with cardio and then doing muscle (weight) workouts is extremely important for seniors. Maybe another person could be trained for this class.
Also thank you for putting in the extra chair, yoga classes as they are so vitally important to us seniors.

To begin with, a very welcoming and friendly staff. Everyone is helpful. The offerings are outstanding and plentiful with an array of options, times and variety of activities. The facility is immaculate, and the vibe is family oriented and courteous
Love the amount of group classes. Only thing that is annoying is the amount of pickleball. The baseketball court is already small and used often
I personally only attend the aquasize classes at night here. I have to travel 40 minutes from my home in Rowley because the Ipswich YMCA does not have water exercise night classes. I love theses classes, although it is quite far from my house. Jenny and Mary's water classes are fun and provide a total workout. But in all honesty, if they had classes in Ipswich, I would be not be attending this Y for any reason.

Right now I am only doing the water aerobics classes 5 days a week.
The staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. Always willing to guide.
I enjoy the early morning classes before I go to work.
The variety of choices and the early time slots. I do wish you could add a country Line Dancing class, but otherwise I like all the classes that are offered. I also appreciate the cost has stayed affordable. Thank you!

Also the friendly and encouraging staff at the group classes. The welcoming people at the front desk are very helpful and nice ,
Overall I feel happy and safe each day I go there for my physical activities.
